Plaster Set - Day 2

A lot of work done on Friday - they even did a full day rather than sto pat 3pm. So now bed 2, bed3 and the hallway are complete. They have missed (forgotten?) to do the inside wall of the linen cupboard. Will need to check that before they finish on Tuesday. Oh and they have also cleaned out all the switch/powerpoint boxes. They did a really neat job of pulling out the wires and trimming the box!

Plaster Set - Day 1

They have now started on the plaster set. It is the same guys that did the plaster render - just the three of them. So on day 1 they have done quite a bit - bed 4, bed 5, laundry, WIL, bathroom and some of the powder and linen.

And on the outside, they have done site clean #3.

Little Progress

Another day without work on the house. Bec did notice a front end loader with sive bucket attached sitting in front of the house early morning. They thought this was for our third site clean however it was gone later but no cleanup had occurred. Strange.
I did get a call from our CC to ask about the cupboard in our vanity which has no shelf. She wanted to confirm that we indeed did not want a shelf in that cupboard. I mentioned that we would be putting a bin in this cupboard which then made sense to her. It is great that she is working hard to ensure that we get the house that we want. So the good news of the day is that the cabinets are being made! Yayyy

Cornices now done

I was a little premature to call the end of cornices. He was back to day to sand the joins and cornices. Took half a day as he was gone by the time I got there at lunch to meet the patio (Perth Patios) guy to go over the quote.
Hopefully the plaster set guys start tomorrow. Also signed off variations #7 and #8.

Ceilings Day 4 - Cornices Finished

They finished the cornices today, well they started installing them and finished them today. They did however do all the prep work last Friday. Looks really good now with cornices. Can't wait for the plaster set. They also swept the floors today so the inside looks really good. It also means the plaster set will have less dirt and dust entrained.
