Day 4 and the sparkie is still going strong. He finished the fuse box yesterday and today he has done all he can until the meter is installed. He expects it to be done on Monday then he will do all the checks on the circuits. All the external powerpoints are now installed including the one for the gas boost that was missed initially. The only complaint is that the light in the porchwas not drilled over the hole made for the wire initially so there is now a hole next to the light. This will need to be patched up before handover. The downlights are installed along with some of the R80 lights. Sure hope he installs the rest of them!!
I think the SS has been doing some preparation for the site clean as the temporary doors have not been removed. Also the spare tiles are now stacked next to the spare bricks. Some solid bricks have been moved to the garage - not sure what this is for? The broken window has also been repaired. Maybe when it was cracked more than just the bullet hole, that made they move to replace it.
I also emailed our CC to let her know about the roller catches installed on the WIR doors. This should be passage set door handles (ie with handles that turn on both sides of the door). Apparantly she is away until next week.
